Letter: Hale will be missed by Amana family

As a devoted fan of TV's Perry Mason, I am gratified The Gazette noted the passing of Barbara Hale.
As a one-time employee of Amana Refrigeration, Inc., I must point out that you could also have noted Hale's local ties as a longtime spokesperson in advertisements and materials for Amana's appliance brands in the 1960s and 70s. She participated in many Amana events over the years and was considered a valued member of the Amana family. We will miss her.
