Letter: Frustration with the health care system

Having worked more than 40 years in public health in Linn County, I have witnessed frustration with the health care system. I wanted to share a personal frustration I recently experienced.
I received the following letter:
'PHYSICIANS' CLINIC OF IOWA, PC has not received an adequate reply or payment in full for the services provided. If we do not hear from you to set up financial arrangements or receive payment in full within 10 days of this notice, your account may be placed with a collection agency.”
Wow! I always have paid my bills within 30 days. I have paid thousands to five different providers in the PCI complex. I guess I will have to make 'financial arrangements” to pay my bill. I wonder if they would accept a payment plan of five cents a week for 23 weeks?
You see my bill was for $1.15.
