Letter: Find alternative before repealing ACA

Republicans in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives are rushing headlong to repeal the Affordable Care Act and there is no replacement in sight. This will generate total chaos with health care as Americans are thrown off coverage and the health care providers are left with no reimbursement for services rendered. Financial and medical hardships will follow and there will be untimely deaths.
One would think that the prudent course of action would be to design and pass the replacement so that Americans could see, compare and respond to the alternative before the existing Affordable Care Act is repealed. If you don't want your health care to be thrown into chaos and uncertainty, now is the time to contact Sen. Chuck Grassley, Sen. Joni Ernst and Rep. Rod Blum to let them know what you think of their reckless actions. If they hear from enough of us, they might actually do the right thing.
