Letter: Ernst certainly made them squeal

Who can forget U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst's 'Squeal” ad?

In it, Iowa's best-known hog castrator claimed Washington is full of big spenders. She forcefully promised to cut wasteful spending and to balance the budget.

Let's see if she honors her promise.

As of now, Ernst has voiced no opposition to the GOP Senate plan to go hog-wild and spend a whopping $1.5 trillion dollars on a tax cut for the wealthy.

When in closing the ad she said of profligate Washington spenders, 'Let's make ‘em squeal,” she may not have foreseen her own wayward future.

Those corporate donors who are living high on the hog are squealing with delight over the prospects of Joni Ernst supporting this egregious tax cut!
