Letter: Defunding clinics brings meaning to slogan

President Donald Trump campaigned for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, the Washington swamp has resisted.

Gov. Terry Branstad signed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood. Since then five clinics have closed in Iowa eliminating some abortion clinics.

Defunding is bringing literal meaning to the state slogan 'Iowa, A Place to Grow” up.
