I support Dale Todd for District 3's Cedar Rapids City Council seat. He has been in our community for many years and has been a proven leader in many areas.
His stance to reduce crime in our community by promoting a zero-tolerance policy on gun violence gives me hope in light of recent events. In addition, he has a long history of involvement with numerous organizations, and has a track record of working to reduce crime in our neighborhoods. As a result, Cedar Rapids is a healthy, safe and prosperous place to live.
With many years of experience and a true, feet on the street approach, his leadership has shown through on projects he's been a part of such as the Wellington Heights neighborhood, Cedar Lake redevelopment and NewBo area. He has the knowledge to continue to advance current initiatives and champion new ones.
His drive and passion to do the right thing for our community are proven and appreciated by many. He is respected and his goals are for the betterment of all of us, not just a few. I support his vision of doing everything possible to continue making Cedar Rapids a great place to live.
