Letter: CR family grateful for assistance

There are good Samaritans alive and well. We had enjoyed the fireworks and were heading home. Our car would not start. A kind family from Marion stopped to help. They drove us home. How we appreciated that.
A few weeks ago I was involved in a traffic accident. Again, a kind person stopped to help. She called the police (my phone was not working). Later, driving by she stopped again. As the car could not be driven we were trying to contact my husband. He was working outside and did not hear the phone. She offered to drive to our house and notify him. She did this!
Many, many things. Now it is our turn to pass on the good deeds.
