Letter: Commission voted no for CR casino license

In its infancy, Cedar Rapids all but sabotaged Iowa casino gambling.
The city claimed it would bring in crime, rape, mobs and prostitution. That it would empty church contribution plates and destroy local entertainment.
I suspect Iowa's gaming commission hadn't forgotten.
