Letter: City commended on water, soil efforts

Thanks to the Cedar Rapids City Council and staff for creating policies and practices that will reduce flash flood damage.

New stormwater and topsoil regulations combined with pollinator patches will enable city soil to absorb rain.

The council demonstrated that it works well together to act in the best interest of citizens.
