Letter: Chuck Grassley was elected to represent all

Sen. Chuck Grassley:
The people voted who they trust to nominate Supreme Court justices by the overwhelming vote to elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.
We the people trust our elected officials to work together on issues. It is no wonder why this presidential election is so ugly to many citizens.
Instead of denying any nomination of a Supreme Court justice, maybe Sen. Grassley should remember that he was elected to represent all of us rather than a narrow faction.
It is time for Sen. Grassley to the job we elected him to do. If not, maybe he should take his ball and bat and go home permanently.
