Letter: Chuck Grassley is in powerful position

Our Sen. Chuck Grassley is the man with the power. From his powerful position in the Senate he can determine that a judge born and raised in the Midwest is named to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, if he notifies President Barack Obama that if Obama nominates Jane Kelly to the Supreme Court, she will have the complete support of the chairman of the Judiciary Committee.
Sen. Grassley's choice is clear; he can join with the Washington GOP establishment or go down in history as a 'Profile in Courage.” He is in the position to determine that a person whose character was developed in the Midwest serves we the people on the Supreme Court.
