Letter: Candidates should learn about illusion

Oct. 3, 2016 1:00 am
On Sept. 16, The Gazette article 'Masters of Illusion cancels show in C.R.” stated that the Oct. 18 Masters of Illusion performance at the Paramount Theatre was canceled. As an undecided independent voter my first thought was this was a Democrat or Republican rally.
Reading further it was a magic show where the performers were exceptional at fooling people. Their acts are not transparent where one can easily see what they are doing. I would encourage our two presidential candidates to attend one of these illusion shows. That way that could adjust their own performances so that their fake transparent speeches would be an illusion to someone other than themselves.
