Letter: Call to stand against EPA nominee

How do you feel about Donald Trump's nominee for the head of the Environmental Protection Agency? I am concerned.
Scott Pruitt does not seem like a good choice. The National Institute on Money in State Politics records say he has received $337,746 from fossil fuel industries in his career as of Dec. 9.
He has sued the EPA over the Clean Water Rule and Clean Power Plan which are common-sense safe guards. He also denies climate change exists.
Please consider opposing this man's selection by our president-elect. You can do that by writing your senators to oppose Pruitt's confirmation.
The League of Conservation Voters, a group not defined by either political party, recommends not confirming Pruitt to this EPA position just as I and many others who have our long term health and happiness in Iowa at stake.
