Letter: Brad Hart will listen to all constituents

While Cedar Rapids is fortunate that several fine individuals care enough about this city to run for mayor, we have observed that Brad Hart's personal style is to actively listen. He is doing just that across the entire city; he's listening to the interests and needs of all constituents, noting concerns voiced in all neighborhoods.
His agenda is fueled by what he is hearing. He's going door-to-door, attending neighborhood meetings and civic forums that most of us don't even know occur. Further, he incorporates what he hears into his thinking and planning for the future of our city. His plan includes keeping our families safe, improving our streets and roads, and essential flood protection we are all concerned about.
As he proceeds toward the election on Nov. 7, it is with the interest of all of Cedar Rapids on his agenda. A vote for Hart is a vote for all of us.
