Letter: Brad Hart is best choice for mayor

The Letters to the Editor word limit is not enough for me to describe why Brad Hart is the most suitable candidate to be our next mayor of Cedar Rapids.

I know of few people to compare with his leadership skills. He has shown his stewardship by the endless hours he has put toward volunteering in our community. He has inspired me, as a young professional, to get involved in my community. His drive and sincere care for the community is contagious. He will help our community continue to thrive. These are the qualities I want in the next mayor of my city.

I believe if we elect Hart, he will lead our city in the right direction by placing priority on repairing our roads, focusing on a long term flood protection plan, economic growth around the community, strengthening workplace development and affordable housing.

Leadership, stewardship and momentum - join me in voting for Hart as our next mayor of Cedar Rapids. Cedar Rapids needs Hart.
