Letter: Ban the sale of assault weapons

As I have written before, assault weapons are for killing in war. Not for self protection, trap shooting or hunting. Such weapons should be banned from sale. Such weapons are the choice weapon for use by those who are responsible for mass killings.
Senators Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, you and other members of Congress (Senate and House) show some action, instead of just talk, or these mass killings will continue. It is very easy to blame someone else when the failure to act falls on your shoulders.
These are my thoughts and I will stand by them. God bless America!
