Letter: Ban dogs from farmers market

Kudos to Cedar Rapids for having a great farmers market.
I do see one change that would make it better for all. Please no pets allowed. I am an animal lover. All of my pets that I have brought home have been rescued in one way or another, from shelters, side of the road, or just wandering up to my house looking for safety and security. I felt bad when I stepped on the paw of a dog and it caused me to feel bad the rest of the day.
I am concerned for the safety and well-being of the animals and I feel this is not the place for them to be when there is so much movement in all directions. Regardless of size it can be stressful for them as well.
Keep going, Cedar Rapids, you are doing great things.
