Let’s support leaders working to help us

What a crazy world we live in. Just a few examples:
If we buy a home or incur a large medical debt, we get a loan to pay for it. If we have a national debt beyond comprehension, we would expect the president we elected in November to borrow to invest in ways to save jobs and create new ones. Otherwise, we'd wither on the vine and die. Is that what you want?
The end-of-life debate amazes me. We've been asked by doctors and hospitals for years if we wish to make advance directives and decide who would make other decisions for us if we aren't competent to do so. As I think about it, the hospital and physicians we go to in our family are all pro-life, not death squads. Do you want to end up on life support for years like Terri Schiavo did when you can make the choice yourself ahead of time?
Get a grip folks; a lot of the population has been broke and angry the last eight years. We need to use good sense, and expect it of our leaders in times of crisis, to solve these problems. Metaphorically, let's not kill them off when they do what is needed to solve the problems. We need to recognize and support the hard work that is being done.
