Let's continue to reach for the stars

Lately, I've heard a lot of talk about the “middle” class. When did we stop telling people to “reach for the stars,” “shoot for the moon” or “be all that you can be?” Now it seems the politicians are saying, “work hard, get a good education and reach for the middle class!”
Obviously our sagging economy and high unemployment has created this lower level of expectation! Are the politicians saying that “middle” class is a step-up in the USA from where we are? We are still expecting our children and grandchildren to achieve “middle” class and beyond.
By voting in November we can help make changes that will benefit all to achieve a higher level of living. We will resist being grouped into a “caste” system just because the politicians can't get it right!
