Let teachers lead the way to better schools

Republicans don’t have a solid platform. However, when you don’t have a platform you’ve gotta have something, right? So, create hot button political issues and see if we can target education. Looks to be successful. They have taken this state from being among the best to being unrecognized. The push downhill includes private school choice funded with tax payers’ dollars.
A key question for legislators is what do credentials mean? (Are legislators credentialed?) Let’s have people teaching our children who have credentials. Educators spend a good part of their life (and money) preparing for the future and that of their students. Parents can surely be part of the process, but those whose life is education can surely lead the way. This isn’t new since that is what brought us up before taking us down.
Let those whose job it is get it done. Political fortunes can be routed elsewhere along with the politicians.
