Legislators should just remove speed limits
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Feb. 4, 2012 11:07 pm
When our former police chief has such glowing remarks about the traffic cameras' effects on safety and then the politicians get involved, I question my vote in the last election.
Legislators want to force the removal of the traffic cameras? Then they should do the same with those silly speed limit laws. The laws simply impede our right to race through town.
If you surveyed all law enforcement officers whether they favor these cameras, I bet they would overwhelmingly say yes.
