Lawn mower ruined nature’s garden
The Gazette Opinion Staff

As I was out for my early morning walk on June 21, I was looking forward to the 3-mile stretch that connects Sixth Street SW and Edgewood Road as the yellow Crown Vetch, interspersed with clover in various shades of purple, greeted me. What a beautiful sight to behold, nature's garden, to greet the many guests we are welcoming into our city this summer.
I was shocked as I approached the walkway only to find that some person mowed down all that beauty, exposing the parched brown dirt and dead grass. How could anyone be so thoughtless and blind to God's beauty?
