To the editor:
Throughout this school board election season, LaTasha DeLoach has repeatedly demonstrated why she is a respected community member and leader.
Her experience as a social worker is evident in her approach to tough issues and inclusive communication. She listens to and respects a variety of voices, actively learning about others' opinions, values and views. She makes thoughtful decisions that incorporate multiple perspectives. She offers her campaign materials in Spanish, Arabic and English to welcome more ICCSD families into the discussions.
I admire her willingness to take on a challenging volunteer role in order to help represent our diverse community. For all of these qualities and more, DeLoach has earned my deep respect, my appreciation, and my vote on Tuesday.
