Kudos, C.R., for bus depot renovation

I know the city gets more complaints than kudos, so I want to thank the designers and implementers of the ongoing work around the Ground Transportation Center 'bus barn” area.
Changing 4th and 5th avenues downtown between First Street and Third Street SE from one way to two way has created a much smoother flow of traffic around and into our building and the GTC Parkade. There are still some snarls as construction is ongoing, but the area has begun to benefit from the changes.
Also, the face-lift given the bus barn, plaza and surrounding area have garnered a number of compliments as well. Thanks, City of Cedar Rapids.
