Koppin deserves praise for dedicated service

To the editor:
Sheila Koppin, who until recently was the communications officer for the Office of the Iowa Board of Regents, deserves a standing ovation from Iowans for her nearly three decades of dedicated service.
She distinguished herself by undertaking her work with the highest levels of competence, loyalty, dignity and class. Just as important, she leavened those characteristics with finely-tuned senses of perspective and humor.
She will be missed because she is truly one of those people who are irreplaceable.
