Knox-Seymour would be proud to represent C.R.

In The Gazette election coverage on Nov. 6, Cedar Rapids Council member Chuck Swore was quoted saying “it sucks” that he has to participate in a runoff election for the Cedar Rapids City Council at-large position. I think that Swore's comment shows he is tired of leading the city and on Dec. 3 Cedar Rapids voters should elect a new council member.
Thankfully, Cedar Rapids voters have an opportunity to elect an energetic leader with a diverse perspective to our City Council, Carletta Knox-Seymour. She is a business owner with community experience serving on the City Planning Commission, and she was endorsed by The Gazette Editorial Board. Remember to vote on Dec. 3 for Knox-Seymour, a leader who will be proud to represent our city.
