Kevin King is an active, engaged trustee of Kirkwood Community College. A longtime area banker, Kevin has demonstrated a deep understanding of business issues that face the college today with a sharp eye on the future. As a former Kirkwood trustee, I understand the importance of a board that is balanced with members who have expertise in education, agriculture and business.
Kevin brings proven business leadership, along with deep community spirit to this position. He has a keen interest in the students, and he understands their needs for an accessible and affordable education. Kevin is an energetic and committed board member. He and his wife, Anne, have gained firsthand information and student perspectives in conversations, meetings and, on occasion, over macaroni and cheese dinners with Kirkwood students.
I support Kevin for re-election. Kevin's student insight and strong business background has helped to guide Kirkwood. The results speak for themselves: Today Kirkwood has growing enrollments, and it is a great community partner that continues to perform well.
