Kind strangers make our community better

On a recent Saturday night, I stopped at the Hill Bros Conoco on the corner of Mount Vernon Road and 19th Street SE for gas. I inadvertently left my card in the gas machine.
Two days later I discovered it missing from my purse. I went over everywhere I had been in the past few days and started calling around. Someone had actually turned it in at the Hill Bros Conoco, right after I had been there.
This person saved me a truckload of panic and worry about it. Whoever you are, I hope you win the lottery for saving this little old lady some serious stress. God Bless you and thank you for making our community a better place!
