Kim Reynolds should debate opponent

We, the people of Iowa, deserve to know the people who seek to represent us. We deserve to know where they stand on the issues, what their visions are, and why they think they are our best choice. Unfortunately, it appears the Republican Party doesn't agree with me on this.
The Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, Kim Reynolds, will not be debating to show who she is and whether she's capable and competent.
Some may discount the importance of the office of lieutenant governor, but not me.
I know that the person holding that office is but a heartbeat away from commanding our National Guard, among all the other responsibilities that come with being the chief executive of our state. The lives of my brothers- and sisters-in-arms are at stake, and they deserve competent leadership.
Either Reynolds has the skills or she doesn't. We deserve to see which is the case.
