Key to financial security? Golf clubs
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Sep. 24, 2009 12:21 am
After watching a lot of golf tournaments on TV and taking note of the money paid for about the first 15 positions, it would seem to me that the first substantial gift to a young boy or girl is a decent set of golf clubs.
If they take to the game and become proficient in the next 20 or so years, get on the pro circuit and place in the top 15 a few times a year, it would seem to me that their financial future is in the bag. No pun intended.
