Keep this in mind at the ballot box

What's at stake in this election? Plenty.
The deep-moneyed interests behind the Republican Party have made no secret of their continuing destain for Social Security and Medicare. Their long-term goal is to cripple, and then destroy, both these vital programs. With continued one-party control in Washington and Des Moines, they are moving closer.
Every Iowa senior and retiree (and indeed every voter) needs to go to the polls with this in mind.
