Keep pressure on for health care reform
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 22, 2009 11:50 pm
First District Congressman Bruce Braley and his colleagues deserve our heartfelt thanks for their hard work and determination to pass good-quality, affordable health care for all Americans. I heard Mr. Braley speak in Waterloo on Nov. 15, and he urged us to loudly speak truth to fear.
This is a call to action for those of us that do support the health care reform bill that was passed by the U.S. House. We don't want to have quality health care delayed past the president's deadline. Our congressmen need to hear from us. Let's march on Washington with calls, letters to congressmen's local offices, as well as letters to the editors of our newspapers.
Let's speak “truth to fear”!
