Keep hard-working, dedicated Rettig
Janelle Rettig, a recently appointed member of the Johnson County Board of Supervisors, is running in the Jan. 19 special election for the remainder of the term. Rettig has a broad range of experience, including service on the Iowa Department of Natural Resources board, the Iowa City Airport Commission, the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and numerous human rights and social justice organizations.
Rettig's experience dealing with issues such as conservation, trails and family farm preservation demonstrates her strong commitment to rural constituents.
What impresses me most about Janelle is her dedication and hard work. She studies carefully all issues and treats everyone with respect and genuine interest.
Johnson County is fortunate to have Rettig as a supervisor, and I urge you to vote to keep her on the board.
