Kansas City Royals accomplished mission

To the editor:
It was no fluke! Let me take you back to a spring training game in late March in Peoria. Royals against the Mariners. Pitching for the Mariners is Felix Hernandez. Hitting for the Royals is Christian Colon. Colon ropes a double off Hernandez to left center and Jarrod Dyson scores. Very similar to the tiebreaking hit that he had in Game 5 of the Royals World Series victory.
By the way, the Royals won that spring training game 3-1 against the Mariners, without Moustakas and Cain in the lineup that day. Built for battle. Tough for life. That's the best way to describe the 2015 Kansas City Royals. Twenty-five guys with one mission to get back to the World Series and this time win it. It was a team effort through and through. Seven come from behind wins down by two or more runs in this postseason. Hollywood could not have written a better script. The ultimate compliment to the Royals I have heard is when Theo Epstein made his case to convince Jon Lester to sign with the Cubs. He told Lester we can be the Royals. Well, maybe next year. Keep the line moving. Go, Royals - the 2015 champions of the baseball world.
