John Culver’s ‘devotion’ to Iowa worth a chuckle

I had to chuckle Tuesday morning, when I read of John Culver's “devotion to” Cedar Rapids and how he “cares passionately about this state and his hometown.” Are these the reasons he left Cedar Rapids and Iowa when he was no longer in Congress, and the reasons he doesn't live in Cedar Rapids and Iowa anymore? Is John passionate, or is he concerned he'll have to find a job for son Chet starting in early 2011?
