Jane Boyd Community House still vital at 100

For nine years I had the honor of working in a small way for the organization that the plucky, indefatigable, 'Saint of Cedar Rapids” gave birth and sustainability to. Thanks to my former boss, director Megan Isenberg, who embodies the spirit, compassion and vision of educator and social worker Jane Boyd, the future of the oldest community house west of the Mississippi is as fresh and exciting as it was a century ago. Happy Birthday, Jane Boyd! You are an exemplar of the kind of thing that contributes greatly to a community's heart and virtue.
