Having been a congressman in the district and a former resident of Linn County, I recognize the importance of county supervisors.
I have known Andrea Jackson for almost 10 years and she is an excellent candidate and highly qualified for the position of Linn County supervisor. She is a lifelong Linn County resident, full-time educator, mother of three children and has a strong work ethic.
As an educator, she has been committed to the parents and middle school students she's taught. She understands the benefits of strong programs offered by the county that enhance the lives of Linn County families.
She's done her research and fact-finding about needs and issues in Linn County to better understand and prepare for the position. She knows the importance of asking necessary questions and gathering pertinent information needed in decision making. She will bring a new and fresh perspective to the supervisor position.
