It’s time to dump Mallard Fillmore

The Nov. 15 Mallard Fillmore comic strip is very offensive. It back-handedly accuses the FBI of staging terrorism. When did it become acceptable to disrespect faithful public servants?
We know who is responsible for domestic terror on Jan. 6, and it's not FBI.
Some in charge of defending our nation failed. One decided not to prepare for or defend our capital. It was clearly time to step up and protect this democratic republic and resources were available. Please cut the Mallard comic strip. If it means we have to cut Doonesbury, so be it. Doonesbury is not that important, or in touch.
It is time to stop seeding hatred.
