It's time to cut back

After the telegraph system was completed from coast to coast in the United States, the Pony Express folded its tent and walked or galloped away with some modicum of dignity.
It seems the U.S. Postal Service and its union, since the emergence of email, will only go kicking and screaming for more and more taxpayer dollars to fund its losses.
Despite the constant berating of the Postal Service, it has been my experience that they always provided prompt and quality service. But the reality is, now it's time to cut back.
