It would be better to spend money at home

Every month, the United States is spending around $6.7 billion with our troops over in Iraq. We could be spending that money for other things. Taking all of the troops out of Iraq would be a good thing for our country.
One of the reasons I think we should take them out is because our troops should be here at home in our country, not in foreign countries. The money we are spending for them to be over there could be used for so many things that could help our country, not hurt it. The money could be used for public education, medical research and to help students pay for college.
Another reason is because our troops should be at home with their families. Every second of every day a U.S. soldier is risking his or her life to win a war that is not worth fighting for.
