IPERS beneficiaries need to pay attention

Hey Iowa! If you are one of the 350,000 Iowans who are on IPERS for your retirement, listen up! Gov. Kim Reynolds has said after the elections are over, IPERS must be 'looked at.” This will undoubtedly affect your benefits.
IPERS is currently one of the best-run state retirement plans. Republicans should not mess with it. Remember what Republican lawmakers have already done to collective bargaining rights, Medicaid and Iowa counties' efforts to raise the minimum wage? At the federal level Iowa lawmakers voted to abolish the Affordable Care Act and deprive you of health insurance.
Republicans are not the friend of the working Iowan or any Iowan needing health insurance. You should go to the polls and vote them out on Nov. 6.
