Iowa’s U.S> senators are doing good work

Sens. Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley have proved to be calm, reliable and levelheaded in reacting to this crisis and crafting legislation to ease some of the pain being felt by Iowans.
The coronavirus is a very real threat, not just to our physical health, but to the health of our small business community. The bill recently passed by the Congress will bring important aid and relief to our small businesses here in Iowa. It contains billions of dollars in money for small businesses dedicated to preventing layoffs and business closures. This money can allow our mom and pop shops to remain open, and do right by their employees during this time.
This bill may not be perfect, but I am thankful to our senators for taking action to get this passed and deliver relief to our small businesses in Iowa.
