Iowans need to decide who to elect
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Sen. Tom Harkin's defense of the “if you like your plan you can keep it” lie of the president regarding Obamacare typifies the arrogant, central-planning mindset of people who think government always knows best.
Harkin wants his heir apparent Bruce Braley to follow in his footsteps.
Braley also displays the entitlement mentality of an elitist.
When Braley tried to compare Obamacare to the Wizard of Oz because it was wonderful, he was taken to task by comedian Jon Stewart, who reminded viewers the wizard was a two-bit charlatan who gave people what they already had.
With Harkin preparing to retire to his home and Braley ginning up his senatorial campaign with promises to continue and defend policies such as Obamacare, Iowans need to decide if we want to elect another senator to represent our state who thinks we are ignorant plebes who need directions from Washington to live their lives.
Or they can start to learn about limited government and a man from the western part of the state - Sam Clovis.
