Iowans are not believing the lies

Out-of-state interests are attacking Rep. Bruce Braley and trying to skew his record. As Iowans, we are too smart to swallow their lies.

The truth is that Braley is committed to fighting for Iowa's middle class families, creating jobs and expanding opportunities. That's exactly what he's done since he was elected to Congress in 2006. For example, Braley took on the Pentagon to secure back-pay that was initially denied to 800 Iowa National Guard members.

Braley also wrote a tax cut for businesses that hire unemployed workers, which helped an estimated 100,000 Iowans get back to work, and he passed a similar tax break for businesses that hire veterans. He worked to create a job training program for Iowans who wanted to work in renewable energy.
