Iowans are better than what some are voting for

As Iowans, we pride ourselves on our commitment to integrity, fairness and the democratic process. Our state has a long history of playing a pivotal role in American elections, and our caucuses are seen as a bellwether for the nation.
However, this year's caucuses are shrouded in a dark shadow. The potential candidacy of a man who tried to overthrow the results of a free and fair election is a direct affront to our values. Why would Iowans even consider caucusing for someone who repeatedly made baseless claims about the election being stolen and continues to undermine faith in our democracy?
Iowa, we are better than this. We cannot stand by and allow our state to be used as a platform for those who seek to destroy the very foundation of our nation. We must send a clear message that we will not tolerate those who undermine the will of the people and threaten our democracy.
