Iowan salutes the “wave”

I was in Kinnick Stadium at the Iowa-Nevada football game. It was another "wave" game to the children on the 12th floor.

There were more than 70,000 people waving to the kids at the hospital. But in reality, every Iowan was there that day.

Every single one of us.

We are not a people to be divided.

We are Iowans.
