Iowa troops to enjoy many Girl Scout cookies
Soon, 16,200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies will be arriving in Iraq and Afghanistan and into the hands of our Iowa's Bravest. Our servicemen and women will appreciate the effort our fellow Iowans made to remember them.
The Iowa's Bravest organization appreciates UAW 838 and everyone who supported our troops by donating cookies, making a donation for postage, or volunteering to help assemble the boxes. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois did a fantastic job in getting so many cookies donated this year.
Our website, www.IowasBravest.org, will be updated with the notes and pictures we receive from our troops. Please read them to see for yourself how much your effort is appreciated.
