Iowa should reject infrastructure money opposed by Republicans

Since all of Iowa’s Republican representatives in the U.S. House voted against President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill, it would be the height of hypocrisy for our state to accept any money to improve things like bridges, highways or broadband access.
Therefore, U.S. Reps. Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Randy Feenstra should immediately, and publicly, urge Gov. Kim Reynolds to not accept any funds that might solve problems or improve Iowa’s infrastructure.
It looks like they really believe it is better that someone die on a failed bridge or a child remain ignorant than ask the country to work together to improve itself.
