Iowa should accept refugee children

Your July 22 articles 'Governor follows ill wind” by Todd Dorman and 'Branstad says children at border are not refugees” were excellent guides for what should be done with the children refugees at our border.
The answer should be obvious: 'We should take them in.”
For Christians who oppose this stand, including Gov. Terry Branstad, who claims to be a Catholic, just ask yourself: 'What stand would Jesus Christ take on this issue?”
Just read Matthew 25:35 which states 'You were a stranger and you took me in,” etc. and Matthew 25:40 which states 'Whatsoever you do for the least of your brethren, you do it also for me.”
