Iowa Republican wisdom leaves questions

Some Iowa Republican legislators (and Gov. Kim Reynolds) want to make ivermectin for COVID-19 treatment available on an OTC basis, right? Does the wisdom of this proposal make you wonder about the Republicans' moves in attempting to micromanage the curricula at our elementary, secondary, and university institutions of learning? Or their thinking on how to spend our tax dollars in relation to education and social programs? Or their reluctance to take steps to clean up our water? If it makes you wonder, the start of a solution begins in November.
